The two spans in this HPC bridge in Colorado replace four spans in the
previous bridge at this site. Using HPC resulted in a superstructure depth
of 3 ft (0.9 m) for the 112 ft (34 m) and 97 ft (30 m) spans. This thin
superstructure allowed an increase in the clearance under the bridge from 15
to 16.5 ft (4.6 to 5.0 m) without any significant changes in grade.
